I first emailed Mike almost 2 years ago beginning to look at the housing market in the Bozeman/Belgrade area. Late 2020 I became serious about finding a home, and Mike was helpful, professional and thorough throughout the entire process. As a first time home buyer I had a lot to learn, and Mike was always more than happy to answer questions and explain things I didn't know or didn't understand. Mike Duquette recently served as our Realtor for a purchase in Bozeman. I wasn’t sure how the process would go given we live out of town (a few young family members in Bozeman helped as ‘boots on the ground’). Looking at the process I don’t things could have gone smoother! Mike was knowledgable, responsive, and generally provided ‘white glove treatment’! Mike helped us find our home, negotiate a price (including negotiations for some of the sellers furnishings), connected us with a local mortgage provider and home inspector, and even helped us find a house cleaner at the very last minute! Mike Duquette did an absolutely outstanding job of helping us buy a home in Bozeman, Montana. Mike was there for every step of the process from finding homes for us to look at, arranging viewings, helping us with our bank, etc. Mike was always available if needed anything. We are living in the San Francisco Bay area and we never felt cut off from the process by the long distance. We bought the house with our son and his family, who live in Bozeman. When the construction was delayed and our son needed a place to stay Mike found us a great rental house. It turned out to be a perfect place for my wife and I, as well as our son, his wife and our grandson. Mike was amazing, he was always there when we needed him and made sure everything got done as quickly as possible. He was with us right through closing which happened in our car because of Covid-19. And after the close Mike continues to stay in touch to be sure we are happy with the house. In fact when the ceiling of our grandsons room developed a leak, Mike got the contractor out the same to deal with the issue. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with this very talented young man.

Mike was super helpful and very knowledgeable. He took a lot of time driving me around Bozeman to really get to know the area which was particularly helpful since I was an out of town buyer. He gave me great recommendations to not only complete the homebuying process, but afterwards as well for furnishing, repairs, bathroom remodel, etc. He went above and beyond from beginning to end! He even drove way out of his way to rescue me when my car went off the road in a snow storm. I highly recommend Mike and would absolutely work with him again.

Mike is one of the most caring and thoughtful guys you will ever meet. How many real estate agents do you know who take you to a college football game with box seats :-) Honestly Mike was very patient as my wife Joy and I tried to figure out the best fit for us in Bozeman. He was always available and never made us feel like we were dragging him all of the place (even though we were) We would highly recommend Mike if you are looking for a home in the Bozeman area.
